Reserving an ATV

Pick an ATV and your dates, and submit a reservation. It is a request until it is approved — approval is not automatic.

You are charged when you book

Your card is charged the rental fee in full when you submit the reservation, before anyone has approved it. This is not a hold: the money moves.

If the reservation is declined, or you cancel in time, you are refunded in full.

The security deposit is separate and is not taken now — it is a hold, placed when you arrive. See the deposit hold.

What has to be finished before it can be approved

  • Your profile filled in.
  • Your licence verified.
  • The agreement signed.

Your licence is verified before you can sign; beyond that, order does not matter. See what a rental needs.

Doing these promptly is the difference between an approval and a request sitting in a queue with nothing to approve.

Arrive on any day of your booking

There is no narrower window than that. You tell us you have arrived in the app — there is nobody to meet on site. That places the deposit hold; then you take the checkout photos at the machine and ride. See collecting your ATV.

If you do not collect it

An approved reservation that is never collected is closed after the last day of the booking, and is treated as a no-show: the rental fee is not refunded, in the same way an uncancelled cabin booking is charged whether or not it is used. The deposit hold, if one was placed, comes off your card.

If your plans change, cancel rather than not turning up.

Cancelling

Cancel from the reservation itself, up to 24 hours before your reservation date. There is no cancellation fee — you are refunded in full and any deposit hold is released.

Inside that 24 hours the app will not let you cancel. Call us instead.

The deadline is on your confirmation email, and in the rental schedule you sign. That signed copy is what governs your reservation, so if the two ever differ, the signed one is the deadline.

If we cancel

We may decline or cancel a reservation — a machine becoming unavailable, or verification that cannot be completed, are the usual reasons. In either case you are refunded in full.

This article explains how the process works. What you owe, and on what terms, is set by the rental agreement — the copy you signed is what governs your rental.
