Signing the rental agreement
Every rental is governed by a rental agreement and safety waiver, which you sign in the app or in your browser before the ATV goes anywhere.
You can read the current version at any time, without signing in: see the rental agreement.
Signing it
The document is shown in full. You affirm the sections that ask for it individually, and sign your name in the box. The affirmations are the electronic form of the initials lines on a paper agreement.
You also agree to three things before you can sign: that you accept an electronic signature in place of a paper one, that you understand the risks, and that you accept the terms. Signing electronically is how every rental here is agreed; if you would rather sign on paper, contact us before you book.
Verify your licence first
Signing is not offered until your licence has been verified. See verifying your licence.
When you may be asked to sign again
Each signature is kept as its own sealed document, and you can download it from the rental at any time.
Before you collect the ATV, though, the signature has to match what you are actually taking: if a new version of the agreement is published, or your booking's dates or price change, you will be asked to read and sign again. Once you are riding, what you signed stands.
Riding with other drivers
Each additional driver signs their own copy against the same rental — you cannot sign for them. See riding with additional drivers.
This article explains how the process works. What you owe, and on what terms, is set by the rental agreement — the copy you signed is what governs your rental.
